I switched to YOGO 75 Pro.

79

Long time no see, reporting for duty.

I've been using full-size keyboards or slightly shorter ones like the F99 for work. Lately, as I've been working with AI, my use of the number pad has decreased significantly. So, I decided to try something more compact and ended up choosing ATK's YOGO 75 Pro after considering Nuphy and Lofree.

This is my first full aluminum body keyboard since the Logitech MX Keys. The keyboards I used before weren't bad, but the finishing, texture, and stability are definitely a step up. Now I understand why people prefer full aluminum bodies.

I was also satisfied with the MX Keys, and while I missed linear and yellow switches in full-size keyboards, the silent red switches I planned to use for quiet typing in the office were indeed quiet but felt a bit dull compared to cheap membrane keyboards. This time, I wanted something with more personality, even if it was a little louder, so I chose cloud switches.

Ah, this is exactly the sound I was looking for. It's not too loud, and it's not boring either. Contrary to my worries, the 75% layout is quite charming. Even without a number pad, I don't feel much inconvenience since I mostly work with prompts.

And the cool touch of the aluminum body feels great. When I'm not typing, usually while giving instructions to AI or browsing Damoa, I like to gently stroke it with my fingertips. It really lifts my mood.

The font on the keycaps of this keyboard is also very pretty. I've used many other keyboards before, but the clean and appropriately thick font on the keycaps really appeals to me.

It might be because it's still the honeymoon phase, but these moments of clicking away at work are truly enjoyable.

Low profile FTW!!!
