This device combines a front CD player, comprehensive network streamer, 4-channel amplifier, and connectivity open to home theater and LP records, adopting the latest premium product line design from Japanese manufacturer Marantz.

A new power supply unit with enhanced current reserve is built into the compact body to better control the speakers. The amplifier delivers an output of 2 x 65W (or 4 x 33W at 4 ohms). The 4-channel structure offers excellent modularity. It supports individual volume control for two separate spaces, power supply for one or two pairs of speakers (A and B), bi-amping mode (separating bass/midrange and treble from compatible 2-way speakers), or PBTL (Parallel Bridge-Tied Load) mode that concentrates all output on a single pair of speakers.

Designed to be the centerpiece of a modern living room, the Marantz MCR 60n features an HDMI eARC port. It's compatible with HDMI CEC for volume control via your TV remote and supports decoding Dolby Digital and Dolby Digital Plus streams, making it a premium stereo alternative to soundbars. Music lovers will also appreciate the addition of a built-in MM phono preamp, allowing you to connect an LP player directly without needing an external board.
The wireless section has also been enhanced. Bluetooth has evolved to be bidirectional (RX/TX), allowing you to receive music from your smartphone and transmit audio to wireless headphones or earbuds for quiet nighttime listening.

For the first time in this specification, the MCR 60n is compatible with Dirac Live Room Correction (available as an optional upgrade), an acoustic correction system that allows you to tailor the sound to your listening space.

In addition to HDMI and phono jacks, the physical connectivity is extensive. There's one optical digital input, one USB input, and one Ethernet network port. On the output side, it features a subwoofer output with an adjustable crossover frequency and a variable audio output (Main PreOut), allowing it to function as a premium pure network preamplifier with active speakers.
