I joined a no caddy tee time on Saturday at 6:29 PM.
I started golf 13 years ago and went there, and in the thick fog where I couldn't even see the pin on the par 3, I somehow managed to hit it well and
made my first birdie in life ㅎ
I left home leisurely and filled up my stomach at Yeouju rest area before leaving again. Then the navigation system said that there was a traffic jam in the Central Inland region. Although the estimated arrival time was 30 minutes earlier, I still took the Central Inland route...
Oh no! It was completely jammed, and the estimated arrival time kept increasing until it reached 6:35 PM?
I thought, "Oh man, I'm doomed..." but luckily, it cleared up in 20 minutes, and I arrived 15 minutes early.
But why? They said the tee time was delayed, and I ended up teeing off after 7:10 PM. Ugh...
It's located along the Han River, so the scenery is nice ㅎ
Most of the teeing grounds are mats, and there are light shadows cast in some places, which is a bit inconvenient. I carefully watched others hit from the side.
The fairways are quite wide, and the areas near the landing points are in decent condition. However, other areas have many repair spots and bushes, making it very difficult to find your ball if it lands there. It's also hard to find balls even when they land in the rough. A UV lamp would be very helpful.
The greens are bare in some places and a bit firm. The speed is slightly fast..?
On this day, the tee time was delayed from the start, and there was a wait for every shot on every hole.
The front nine took about 3 hours, and the back nine was slightly better, but it still took a long time, 2 hours and 40 minutes...
I ended up finishing past 1 PM, and when I got home, it was already 2:30 AM ㅎㅎ ㅠ
It's not that close either, and for the most part, a place like Hilldesheim would probably be in better condition.
If I have another chance, I'll try going during the day... Night no caddy rounds here are a bit rough.
