Ehugheschooling – EHS homeschooling was founded by Dewi Hughes since 2007. EHS homeschooling is a school with a homeschooling system that gives freedom to students to explore and dig for knowledge and education in a more enjoyable way. Ehugheschooling uses a learning system based on information technology (IT).
Learning at EHS homeschooling is more intensive and effective because it uses a semi-private learning system. Each student can learn according to their personality. With ehugheschooling students are free to optimize their self-development.
Her passion for the Child World, Education and Empowerment of Indonesian Women continues to be pursued by actively engaging in the World of Education. Together with her husband Roy Immanuel, she founded Dewi Hughes International Foundation which oversees Hughes Presenter Club, E-Hugheschooling (Homeschooling), Community Reading Room@Mall and Learning lounge, Pre school - Little 1 Academic (collaboration with KFC) and Indonesian Tutor Community (KTI).
In 2005 Dewi Hughes received an Award from the Government of Indonesia and the United States government:
Heroes Acting To End Modern Day Slavery and received a scholarship to continue her education in the United States.
In addition to being National Ambassador of the Campaign Against Trafficking of Women and Children in Indonesia, Dewi Hughes was also appointed as a Consultant of the Ministry of Education and Culture of Indonesia as a Promoter and Founder of Community Reading Room. She is also active as
Member of Advisory board @ America in Indonesia. In 2011 the Ministry of Education and Culture of Indonesia appointed Dewi Hughes as Ambassador for Early Childhood Education, non-formal and Informal (PAUDNI).
Currently Dewi Hughes conducts many teaching activities, provides motivation and conducts parenting seminars that are widely held by various organizations and companies. Furthermore, Dewi Hughes wants to focus on Parenting Education (
Parenting) and effective communication in Parenting.
Life Skills – Rebuild
The theme of this Life Skills class is Rebuild. We rebuild old wooden boxes into new items that are useful and more beautiful. All work processes from sanding, cutting wood, painting, etc. are done by the EHS family under the supervision of a teacher experienced in woodworking.
