Conversations with AI chatbots like ChatGPT are not legally privileged like conversations with lawyers, doctors, or counselors.

In the past two years, there have been at least 12 cases where chatbot conversations have been cited as court evidence.
- A college student accused of damaging vehicles searched ChatGPT for "How much trouble will I get in if I smash a bunch of cars?" and "Is there any way they'll find out it was me" shortly after the alleged crime. These searches were discovered during a phone seizure investigation and used as evidence.
Hmm... I wonder if deleted conversations are also submitted as is.
We need to be careful with sensitive conversations (?) with AI in the future.
