Last time, I made the Big Bang song while experimenting with kinetic typography, and this time I made it as a test to see how far animation production could go (with a bit of fan support added...)
Think of this as the result of using just 4 reference images. I only used 4 images: the characters Winter and Karina, the Panigale that Winter rides, and the DeLorean DMC-12 that Karina rides. This time, I really did multiple retakes of scenes compared to before.
I made this with tears while using RTX 5090 and 64GB RAM, but given the nature of the model, I think it would be very possible even with lower specs. Instead of the novel-continuation game we did in the community before, I think collaborative anime-making would be fun too.
It's really amazing that this is possible locally. I'm unsure whether models of this level or higher will be released going forward. Compared to the qwen 27b model I think of for coding, this is at a level where you could directly adopt the production environments from existing video production companies. It has a feeling like the democratization of DSLRs...
