I am a salaried worker working in Korea.

My company is a startup and wants to expand into Indonesia. Since I can only get limited information from a short visit, I would appreciate your help.

  1. What are the most popular rental items (home appliances) in Indonesia?
  2. I am curious about the perception of rentals.
  3. I would like to know the youngest street or area with a high population density in Jakarta.
  4. I am curious about the awareness of Korean products in Jakarta.
  5. I am curious about the cost of beauty treatments (makeup, eyebrow shaping, semi-permanent makeup) in Jakarta.

 

In addition, I would be very grateful if you could tell me about the atmosphere of Indonesia and Jakarta and any points to be careful about.

    [KR] 요즘은 가구 렌탈, 아기 용품 렌탈도 인스타에서 홍보 많이 하더라구요. 젊은 중산층이 늘어나면서 렌탈 문화도 조금씩 성장하는 느낌입니다. 하지만 여기 사람들이 ART (가사도우미) 의존도가 커서 전자제품을 참 거칠게 사용하는 습성이 있습니다. 그리고 이곳의 전자제품 서비스 센터가 나아지고 있다지만 서비스가 미약한점도 참고하세요. 인구가 많고 나라가 커서 쉬울것 같지만 그부분이 마케팅할땐 어렵고 비용도 더큰거 같아요. 제가 느끼기엔 이귯은 아이디어 싸움보다는 마케팅 싸움입니다. 사업 대박 나시길 기원합니다.

However, people here have a high dependence on ART (housekeeping assistants), so there's a habit of using electronics quite roughly. And while the electronics service centers here are improving, please also note that the service quality is still lacking in some areas. Even though the population is large and the country is big, making it seem easy, marketing-wise it's actually difficult and the costs are higher. From my perspective, this market is more about a marketing battle than an ideas battle. I hope your business becomes a huge success.

Namun, masyarakat di sini sangat bergantung pada ART (pembantu rumah tangga), sehingga memiliki kebiasaan menggunakan produk elektronik secara kasar. Dan meskipun pusat layanan produk elektronik di tempat ini terus berkembang, layanannya masih terbatas, jadi perlu dicatat. Meskipun populasi besar dan negara luas sehingga terlihat mudah, tetapi dalam hal pemasaran itu justru sulit dan biayanya juga lebih besar. Menurut saya, pasar ini lebih merupakan pertarungan pemasaran daripada pertarungan ide. Saya berdoa bisnis Anda sukses besar.

    [KR] 몰문화가 발달되어 있어서 한국처럼 힙한 거리가 있을까 싶네요. 리빙관련된 사업이면 주거지 주변 생활권 몰에서 리서치 해보시는것도 추천 드립니다. BSD 아이온몰, PIK 애비뉴, 서부 뿌리 리뽀몰, Kelapa Gading 수마레콘 등등요 타겟층을 잘 겨냥하시는게 관건일듯 싶습니다. 대박나세요!!!

    [KR] 1.생활수 필터, 식수정수기 2. 한인업체라 괜찮았어요. 3. 블럭 M. 부유층은 각종 몰. 4. 한국 상품들 좋아합니다. 한글을 써서 한국제품처럼 팔기도 하니까요. 5. 외국인, 부유층들이 가는 반영구. 눈썹등은 한국과 비슷한 가격. 현지인들이 가는곳은 많이 저렴. 즉 수준에 따라 가격이 다릅니다. 좋은 성과 있으시길~
