Ambassador Yoon Soon-gu attended the event commemorating the 81st anniversary of Indonesia's Independence Day held at the Presidential Palace on August 17 (Thursday).
Many people attended this year's Independence Day event, including President Prabowo, Vice President Gibran, former President Joko Widodo, heads of constitutional institutions and ministries, foreign envoys, and ordinary citizens.
The Independence Day event featured cultural performances showcasing the characteristics of each region in Indonesia. In addition, various Indonesian Air Force aircraft test flights and airborne special forces parachute training exercises were conducted as side events.
