At first, I thought it was just another new Korean community in Indonesia. 'Where is this place?' I stumbled upon it by chance and only occasionally glanced at it.
'Nongkrong' this special name comes from the Indonesian word 'menongkrong'. Originally meaning 'sitting around with nothing to do', 'sitting cross-legged', or 'waiting', it now means 'spending a lot of time together with close friends'. At first, I thought the site name was quite unique, but now I wonder if there is any other word that could better express this space.
For those who have experienced inevitable loneliness and homesickness while living abroad, as well as the feeling of emptiness even after eating and meeting people, I hope you will find something new at Nongkrong.
