This is my first time writing something like this, and I'm writing it because I think the same thing might happen again in the future.
I recently watched the awards ceremony for the middle school division of the "King of Track" criteria competition and had some questions.
A familiar face appeared, and when I looked at the photos from the 26th Naejangsan Grandfondo Awards Ceremony, that middle school student was there.
I remember him because he was wearing a team jersey.
(I won't attach the photo because it would be possible to identify the team and the person.)
As far as I know, minors are not allowed to participate in competitions due to safety concerns related to accidents,
Well.. he didn't get hurt and even beat the adults to take the podium, so congratulations are definitely in order.
However, isn't it wrong that a competition where participants wear team jerseys is not subject to the "minors prohibited" rule?
The person who came in fourth place must have worked hard without cheating on their age, which is really unfortunate.
Sometimes I see posts asking if there are any Grandfondo races where minors can participate on social media and the internet.
Let me reiterate: "For safety reasons, minors are not allowed to participate in Grandfondo races."
It's also stated in the competition regulations, but I don't know how they got their race number,
If someone gets into an accident while riding in a Grandfondo, no one will take responsibility.
