After impulsively buying a Mac m3 ultra,
I couldn't help but become interested in things like LLMs and started looking around. I'm a wild bear.
While messing around with hermes agent when I was bored,
I found that the qwen3.6 27b model is the most suitable in a 96gb environment and am currently using it.
This weekend, I was going to throw a catalog pdf file my company references at it and ask,
"Find this for me, what is this?, What can I use with this?"
I tried to organize these questions, but
it seemed like it could only handle very basic things and started saying strange things when it got a little more complicated.
I thought I might have done something wrong,
and then I remembered the $20 I had charged to openrouter
and decided I wanted to try paying for a service.
I carefully set up Claude sonnet5 and gave it the task,
and it took almost 10 times less time and the completeness of the materials was incomparable.
Later, when I asked qwen,
"Can you do this?"
"Ah, I can't do that," it honestly replied...
I realized that money is the best!
I need to look into Claude code or a subscription...
(Wait, doesn't that mean there was no reason for me to buy a Mac...? )
