Samsung Electronics has launched a 'paperless ticketing' service in collaboration with Korail, allowing users to issue and manage train tickets through Samsung Wallet.
Samsung Electronics announced on the 10th that it will provide Korail tickets sold at offline counters as mobile tickets in Samsung Wallet. After agreeing to use the service in advance through Samsung Wallet, users can automatically register their tickets by paying with Samsung Wallet at station counters.
Korail tickets issued from the integrated app 'Korail+' launched on August 3rd can also be added to Samsung Wallet through the 'Add to Wallet' function.
Mobile tickets registered in Samsung Wallet can also be refunded and exchanged within the app. It is also linked with the calendar and 'Now Briefing' of Galaxy devices, providing boarding time alerts and travel itinerary management functions.
