I finally tried the Alibi intercom that someone else posted about before today.
It's lightweight and doesn't feel uncomfortable when attached to the chin strap.
For now, only two people can use it as an intercom.
Turn on the power of each device and press the + button twice to connect the two devices.
As far as conversation goes, it passes my standards.
I tried talking while driving at a speed of about 30km/h,
and even with the volume turned up to the maximum, it didn't sound extremely loud (my colleague who was riding with me said it would have been better if it were a little louder).
My voice was clear and audible, and the wind noise was slight?
I didn't feel it too much.
When I turned my head while talking, a lot of wind noise came in.
It seems that you should only look straight ahead while talking to minimize wind noise.
There was almost no delay when we were close, but as we moved further apart, the delay
started to increase gradually.
It seems to work well up to a distance of about 100m? 150m?
Communication stopped when we went any further.
When I returned, I tried it with Bluetooth connection and Discord.
I was using a Galaxy S23 and my colleague was using an S26, but the delay was severe
and there were frequent disconnections, so I turned it off immediately and connected the intercom. ㅎㅎ
Conclusion
It's satisfactory for the price if you only use it with two people.
It's not good to use Bluetooth for three or more people.
If you look straight ahead while talking, there is almost no wind noise.
There is no function to mute the sound when the microphone is raised like Sena?
I don't know if it's a device difference, but when I raise my microphone,
the other person said they couldn't hear anything, but when they raised theirs, I could hear them (Alibi... ).
