I bought it from the Alpitude official site and fitted it,
but it does not seem better than Chinese AliExpress products.
The fitting instructions are poor and the combo kit gives no idea what to do with what...
The mount is also less level than expected, angled slightly upward...
I chose the short mount that the official site says fits the 800 series, and it turns out even a 1040 could be mounted with room to spare
What I wanted was one that fits the 840 exactly, with no gap between the handlebar and the 840..
As for the camera and light mount combo kit, even when I try to fit the light mount adapter it wobbles.,
The instructions are not properly written, and when I inquired the answers were not particularly kind either, just their own incomprehensible replies
Alpitude is quite the disappointment. They will not even accept a return.
