The brain drain seems serious in the AI field too.
Announcing Discovery Loop! I am very excited to announce that together with my long-time friends and collaborators
@Sanjay_Ghemawat
,
@OriolVinyalsML
and
@quocleix
I have founded Discovery Loop (
@DiscoLoopAI
). Discovery Loop is a public benefit corporation whose mission is to accelerate discovery and progress by automating machine learning, science and engineering. The four of us have worked together for between 14 and 30 years, have helped build some of the world's most widely used products, infrastructure and AI models, and we are delighted to now turn our attention to this ambitious effort.
