Secondhand deals have to be handled entirely by yourself from start to finish,
so that cannot be helped, but when it comes to buying new,
some bike shop owners really are too much.
To people who know nothing they just say
"You can ride this size! You can ride that size too!"
cramming the rider into a small size,
or stretching the rider out into a big size,
and if they at least swap the stem for a length that fits, that is a blessing among blessings.
After selling it that way, when the customer comes back saying their back hurts or their wrist hurts,
all they say, like a parrot, is the core muscle refrain
Ordinary people ride bikes as a hobby; are they going to the Tour de France?
Just how far are they supposed to train their core muscles?
And does a bike that does not fit suddenly fit once the core muscles are trained? Honestly...
At least someone reasonably quick on the uptake searches Jachulsa or Dosa
and gets a feel for it: ah, I should lengthen the stem, or shorten it,
I should raise the saddle, or lower it.
People who know nothing just think it is the karma of their past lack of exercise
and keep riding while enduring that pain,
Making a living matters too, but some owners really are too much, is what I think.
That is the thought that came to me.ㅎㅎㅎ
