I was using igpsports' sr mini and, since there were questions about Varia 715 compatibility, I bought a 715 and tested it.....
????????
Its radar accuracy and response performance are worse than the sr mini?????
Even granting that it includes a dashcam, the price difference is fivefold....
The detection range is slightly longer on the 715 (not a meaningful difference), but the speed at which radar information comes up and how it recognizes several vehicles are not malfunctions, yet compared side by side they were rather worse and felt inaccurate more often.
I had expected something because of the Garmin name and the price.... hmm...
