I'd like to share my experience using xanh sm (a.k.a. cheap taxi) from Vietnam.
A few days ago, I had an appointment and was heading to Lotte Avenuel in Kuningan. I downloaded the cheap taxi app and called a cab.
It was raining, so I thought it would be hard to get a car, but one was available right away and picked me up in just 6 minutes. I was impressed with the quick pickup.
I also found it convenient that I didn't need to communicate with the driver through the app. Everything went smoothly.
The app shows you the price upfront, and it was Rp 89,000 during rush hour on a rainy day. That's cheaper than Blue Bird or Gojek! 👍
It rained that day, and I was in the car for over 2 hours. If I had taken Blue Bird, it would have cost me twice as much.
The car was new, clean, and comfortable. The seats were especially spotless.
Hardware is good,
System is good, fare system is good,
Software (driver service) - no significant difference
Maybe the driver was stressed because of the traffic.
I realized again that 'people don't change ㅋㅋㅋ'
Anyway, I plan to switch from Blue Bird to Xanh taxi from now on.
