Since you announced that you are discontinuing the helog service, I wanted to reach out and see if there might be another way for users like me who have been using it for a while.
I'm currently using a web service through Strava API, but this change will soon make API use impossible.
Then I found a solution through intervals.icu and migrated my service there.
Intervals allows simultaneous integration with Garmin, Wahoo, and Strava, and can also receive webhooks. However, if you only integrate with Strava, webhooks will not arrive, so you need to run polling. If both Garmin and Strava are integrated, a webhook arrives once when Garmin activity is registered, and you can receive the activity ID when Strava is registered.

My service also includes a function for managing commuting activities.
If you decide not to continue operating helog, I am considering spinning out part of my service and making it open source. Before that happens, please take a look at intervals and see if it's possible to keep helog running.
