The Indonesian government will launch a free health checkup program for all citizens starting February 12, 2025. The program aims to reduce premature mortality and strengthen preventive healthcare, with a budget of approximately 266 billion won allocated for implementation. Age-specific checkup items will be provided, including congenital disease screening for infants and blood pressure, blood sugar, and kidney function tests for adults. The health checkup is voluntary and can be received at nearby health centers within 30 days of one's birthday. This program is expected to be Indonesia's largest public health initiative in history and is anticipated to significantly contribute to improving national health.
