Sony launched its latest full-frame cinema camera called the FX5, aimed at professionals in the film and video industry. The camera features advanced AI technology that enables automatic subject tracking and real-time white balance optimization. The FX5 can record video up to 5K resolution with various frame rates, and supports S-Log3 mode for a dynamic range of over 15 stops. Other highlights include Open Gate Recording which provides flexibility in cropping video, and internal recording of 16-bit RAW using the X-OCN format. The Sony FX5 also features 5-axis optical image stabilization and a foldable touchscreen for ease of use in the field.
