Poly Language Academy Review
I visited Poly Language Academy, a Korean language academy that established its headquarters in Indonesia.
Located across from Bundokinda Hospital, behind McDonald's, Poly is beautifully decorated in its signature blue color.
Poly offers Level-based classes for children aged 3 to 16.
The curriculum used in the Vietnam and Indonesia branches differs from that of Korea as it is specifically designed for overseas expansion.
After a one-hour test, the counselor informs you about the class time and cost suitable for your child's level.
A Native teacher conducts the test. My child found it too difficult and ended up playing with the teacher for an hour 😅
During the consultation, the counselor explained the level based on a paper and also informed me about the cost.
7.5 months - 8.5 million rupiah
1.3 years - 15 million rupiah
1 year and 10.5 months - 22.2 million rupiah. This is what I was advised.
The method is similar to EF, a leading language academy in Indonesia.
For my second child, who is in middle school, they said that his Korean proficiency hasn't been fully developed yet and asked us to wait.
They also mentioned that 1:1 tutoring is possible, as well as 1:2 classes with classmates of the same level. It was great to have so many options.
It's reassuring to have another English language academy option near home these days when it's hard to find teachers.
The director, who made a very good impression, said they are also considering various programs for Koreans, which makes me even more excited.
