Hotel Tentrem Jakarta marked its second anniversary with Dwi Warsa Tentrem: Savour the Taste, Witness the Heritage. Held on 18 July, the celebration unfolded through Indonesian performance, cuisine and craftsmanship while raising funds for YCHI Autism Center.
The celebration began with a Serimpi dance before guests are introduced to the storytelling tradition of wayang kulit. A performance by harpist Nia Aladdin followed, accompanied by a live sinden and gamelan ensemble that carried the atmosphere into dinner.The cultural journey continued at the dining table with a five-course menu created by Hotel Tentrem Jakarta’s culinary team. The menu explored Indonesian regional cuisine through dishes that balanced tradition with a lighter, more contemporary presentation.
The evening also highlighted the work of Indonesian artisans through SUKMA Gallery. Batik from Hotel Tentrem Jakarta’s Tentrem Batik collection was exhibited alongside creations by Batik Nyonya Indo and Rosethree Batik, celebrating the skill and craftsmanship behind the textile while supporting fundraising efforts for YCHI Autism Center.

It’s about heritage and heart,” said General Manager Andi Bagistav Oddek. “Through Dwi Warsa Tentrem, we celebrate Indonesian craftsmanship and culture while also using this milestone to give back to a community that deserves greater support and care.”
