President Prabowo Subianto will appoint Sudaryono as Head of the National Food and Nutrition Agency (BGN) replacing Nanik S Deyang who resigned due to health reasons. Sudaryono previously served as Deputy Minister of Agriculture and was chosen because of his role in designing the Nutritious Food Program (MBG) from the beginning. With his experience at the Ministry of Agriculture, Sudaryono is expected to be able to support the availability of food raw materials for the MBG program. Nanik S Deyang will be appointed as a member of the BGN Supervisory Board to oversee and improve the governance of the MBG program. This replacement is expected to ensure the sustainability and success of the MBG program.
