I requested a sitpost from the importer of a cube puzzle brand that also appears in World Tour, but it has been over 5 months without any response.
Here is the timeline so far.
September 19: Sitpost purchase request made through a bicycle shop
September 22: The importer replied that there are setback sitposts, but there is no stock of zero-back sitposts at headquarters and there are no plans for mass production.
October 1: After contacting headquarters directly, I was told that they have stock, so I contacted the importer again.
December 29: No response from the importer, so I contacted headquarters again.
January 26: Received a reply stating that imports are expected by the end of February.
Even if it is actually imported at the end of February, it will have taken almost 6 months to supply one part.
Headquarters says "proceed through the importer," and
the importer lies saying "there is no stock at headquarters."
I was so frustrated waiting that I ended up getting another bike,
and the bike I used to ride is just sitting there unused.
I think I learned a life lesson about what happens if you buy a minor brand.
Thanks to this, I have one more bike ㅋㅋㅋㅋ
Not all minor brands are like this, but I hope this example will be helpful as a reference.
