These days, running seems to be trending, and a lot of people are switching from riding to running.
There's even a saying that signing up for a marathon is harder than the Bank of Korea's deposit limit.ㅎㅎ
People who used to ride bikes seem to have some confidence in their heart rate, but there are quite a few who get injured when they start running.
I also ran a marathon about 10 years ago, and I ran over 20 kilometers three times a week (Monday, Wednesday, Saturday), for a total of 60~70 kilometers per week.
At that time, I was young and reckless, so my knee hurt, and I quit after only a year.
I just rode my bike like that, but as I got older, I wanted to get rid of my growing belly fat, so I started running again.
When I started again, I made a resolution: never overdo it, or I won't be able to ride my bike anymore.
If I feel any pain at all, I should rest.

I started running in September last year and ran only once a week, increasing the distance every three weeks.
Before I knew it, I was running 15 kilometers at a 5-minute pace, and naturally, there are no sore spots.
I ride my bike 3~4 days a week, run 1 day, and take 2 days off without fail.
Sometimes I want to try a marathon, but for now, I'm holding back. I might try a half marathon in the spring and a full marathon in late autumn.
But since cycling comes first, I may not be able to do both.ㅎㅎ
For those of you who are starting to run, don't overdo it from the beginning.
It's best to gradually increase your distance and time.
