1. The model I rode before the Foil was the old Edict, which was a previous generation model before the new one came out. I wasn't satisfied enough with the Edict to keep riding it, so I was very satisfied with the TCR and rode it. I considered the TCR Propel as a candidate for my next bike, but seeing the Foil listed on the bicycle registry made me curious about the real thing. I ended up making a payment without even realizing it when I went to see it in person.
It's been about five months since I bought it last year.
The conclusion is that I am much more satisfied with the Foil than the Edict.
With the Edict, I didn't get the feeling of going as fast as I was pedaling, whether on flat ground or uphill. The Foil fills in all the gaps that the Edict didn't satisfy. Even though the Edict wheels were Arc 1100 and the Foil wheels are Syncros Capital 1.0 models, the Foil breaks all records. I regret not buying a Foil sooner. And by the way, Syncros wheels are top-notch in my opinion. I was thinking of changing bikes if I didn't like the wheels, but I'm very satisfied with them.
That's it
