In my line of work, I often organize events like this
I would think such events were done with good service intentions, but
This Cepas event is really absurd.
I suppose helmets and tires as promotional items could have been limited quantities
But is it reasonable for just a handful of items to be the limit?
Arriving around 10:50 on the day of the event, I got a coupon and got in line immediately
Already in the queue ahead, the rider packs were completely sold out, and soon the goggles were sold out too
Since Suunto wasn't sold out, they couldn't give out the Amino Vital kit
And the items being sold weren't even at special prices
There weren't even many events
Why did I have to come all this way just to visit the Cepas store? It was an event filled with nothing but these frustrations.
The only redeeming part was the 100% real past exam questions, which were at least somewhat entertaining.
An event like this is bound to be criticized after being held.
I'm not asking for freebies. If you're going to hold an event
You should have at least made visitors feel that their visit was worthwhile.
Filling it with fish-shaped pastries and fish cakes (and the temperature is above freezing at that)
It was an event where you can't even tell why it was held at all.
I wonder if the marketing or planning person at Cepas is missing
Whoever planned this really should reflect on it.
