Mardon SL6 8th generation 2026 new model seat tube crack occurred (U-shaped area under bolt) and I applied for warranty.
※It's somewhat difficult to see with the naked eye, but you can feel it when you hold the seat tube (bolt area) with your thumb and index finger and run them down.
Purchased on October 23rd, 2025. It's off-season so mileage is very low.
While doing precision fitting on the 24th for the season start, I adjusted the seat height and tightened it with a torque wrench (it's a shop that uses a 1.2 million won Snap-on torque wrench. They get their torque values calibrated regularly!). The side of the tube bulged up. The fitting shop owner told me to stop immediately and go to the purchase shop for inspection, but unfortunately it was closed that day, so I visited a nearby Track direct store and they said it cracked. They said they tightened it with the appropriate torque, so I submitted a warranty claim with that information.
For those who purchased, please check the side of the seat tube and I recommend visiting a shop rather than doing it yourself when adjusting seat height. (It's good to have a witness)
I prepared for the season start with a new bike and an excited heart, but it's disappointing ㅜㅜ
