Strengths compared to 715)
0. Battery
- The 715 sometimes has the battery flicker during a ride, and if you forget to charge it after riding or don't charge it before riding, it becomes unusable..
In comparison, the 820 has a longer battery life, so I'm not as concerned about that.
1. Brake light and adjustable light mode
- For the brake light, you can choose between flashing or maximum intensity.
Compared to the existing 715 which only allows 5 light modes (constant, peloton, daytime flash, nighttime flash, off)
The 820 allows you to create your desired light mode and can skip existing flashing modes. If there's a mode you use infrequently, you can just skip it
You no longer need to press the button multiple times unnecessarily to find the desired mode in the field.
As for brightness, at maximum brightness, you get an afterimage in your vision when you look at it from the front.. (it hurts my eyes)
3. Fun to Watch
- From the speedometer you can tell, but there's fun in watching things like car size and the possibility of danger.
I've only watched it on my phone, but it's surprisingly fun ㅎㅎ
Disadvantages Compared to 715)
0. No Dashcam Function
- The biggest appeal of the 715 is that it can handle everything you need for the rear with just one device, right? A 715 successor will probably come out eventually, but I have no idea how expensive it will be or how long the battery life will last compared to it.
1. Price is Expensive
- It's just expensive, honestly... SR Mini or Guardia would have sufficient features too................
2. If You Already Have a 715, Is It Really Necessary?
- If you don't have complaints about battery life, I don't think you need to buy it
Conclusion)
- If you want to buy it, it's worth buying
- But it doesn't seem like a must-have that you absolutely need to buy
- How about waiting for the 715 successor?
