The government, through the Directorate General of Taxes (DGT), is implementing a new way to increase taxpayer compliance. The DGT will use two data collection methods: field and non-field. Field methods involve direct visits to taxpayer locations, while non-field methods utilize information technology and administration. In this supervision, the DGT also collaborates with various parties such as Village Guiding Officers and security personnel. In addition, the DGT will use scientific approaches such as data analysis and case studies to ensure taxpayer compliance.
