Hello
I'm sharing information.
Previously, I wrote a post saying that I received a Brighton s810 as a reward sale from Brighton 860...
The existing Brighton 860 was well fixed to the Brighton mount adapter (as with the 320 and 420 I used before, there was no problem with fixing)
However, the s810 has vertical play.
So when I ride, it shakes "rattle rattle rattle"...
(The sound is very loud...)
I don't know the reason, so I contacted the importer and asked if the mount adapter had changed when the new Brighton speedometer came out. They said no...
It seems they don't know about this symptom.
I thought something was wrong because what I'm currently running is strange, so I tried replacing it with another Brighton mount adapter that I have, but it didn't work, so I bought a new one and replaced it, but the play still exists..
There is only one way.
It's the only way to replace the speedometer with a Garmin dedicated mount adapter (Interestingly, the back of the speedometer can be replaced with a Garmin dedicated mount adapter. There are also items that can be attached to Garmin).
When I attach the Garmin mount adapter and change the back of the speedometer to Garmin dedicated, there is no play and it is firmly fixed;;;
I don't understand why Brighton doesn't fit with the Brighton adapter... They are not selling a new mount adapter either..
Anyway... This is how you should fix it.
I heard that the newly released s650 is also like that, but I don't know if the s650 includes a mount replacement item or if it can be replaced like the 810.
Anyway, those who are buying new Brighton speedometers should refer to this!!!
