Cycling feels harder these days.

I've been a member of Dossha for so long that I can barely remember, but I don't really come anymore except for the used marketplace.
Back in the day it wasn't so bad, but these days it feels like you can't fit in unless you have a flagship-level bike, if you know what I mean.
In the early days of COVID, it was great because the cycling population increased. Back then, more people to ride with showed up, which was nice, but...
It feels like things are gradually heading into the elite tier. Bike prices are becoming astronomical...
Regardless of money, bikes costing tens of millions of won... I can't even imagine it.
When I look at YouTube, all the cycling clubs have flagship bikes, so joining a club feels even more out of reach. I originally liked solo riding, but it really feels like I'll just have to keep doing that.
Plus, I'm scared so I almost never ride on public roads, so honestly the concept of aero is unnecessary for me, but when I look at Dossha it feels like I have to upgrade everything, so I looked into aero bikes, but riding at best 30 km/h, averaging low 20s, I thought 'what's the point of aero?' and just closed the window....
Actually, since I almost never ride on public roads, I don't need a rear radar and never use one, but this time I bought one to make an app.
Are there not many people who ride casually like me?
These days, I feel like there's nowhere for casual riders to fit in, whether it's clubs or the internet. When I look at local cycling groups on Danggeun Market, seeing people boast about having a few flagship bikes while pretending it's not bragging just turns me off...
Actually, that's why I made the app.
Strava costing over 10,000 won a month is annoying enough.... Zwift costing over 30,000 won is even worse....
Seeing Strava get expensive due to exchange rates and expensive speedometers and all, I started wondering why cycling, which was more approachable and accessible than any other hobby, requires so much now.
Cycling feels difficult now. It's like a wall has been built.
So it feels stagnant because new people aren't coming in.
Well, I wanted to say that there are people like me who ride casually. So that casual riders like me can see and think, 'oh, there are other casual riders besides me.'
P.S. Most of the people who sent me messages had message receiving disabled, so I couldn't reply. (I did reply to those who could receive messages.) iPhone users can just search for 'ByKom' on the App Store to get it. It's because Google has this damn mandatory 14-day beta testing period....
