I'm going to be teaching a few weeks of vibe coding classes for beginners.
What free model would you recommend?
The class is 2 hours a day. (With all the explanations, I think the actual coding will be about an hour.)
Local models are lacking in performance, unfortunately. (Although there's a 3060 on the practice computer)
I'm considering purchasing a cheap Chinese API as a last resort.
