I do think it's a bit excessive
High-end aluminum frames like Allez Sprint are available for 150-160, but a price that's double that is a bit disappointing
However, compared to the latest carbon frames characterized by aerodynamic shapes, small rear triangles, and sloped designs,
just the fact that it's a classic frame with an extended horizontal top tube alone gives visual satisfaction and makes you want to buy and own one
Since I think CAAD14 will likely be the last major brand frame, whether aluminum or carbon, with a horizontal top tube and large rear triangle, for those with sufficient means it seems very worthwhile to buy
After all, bicycles in the hundreds of thousands are already in the realm of luxury goods anyway
