I need quick cash so I'm selling various things I've been saving for later.
It seems that secondhand transactions have become much more difficult compared to before.
Over the past two days, about 20 people have inquired, and 95% of them are scams.
Even when there were scams before, they would ask from the beginning if I could upload it to OO mall,
but now they start by asking if a transaction is possible today, what time they can meet, etc.,
and they ask about options, request negotiations, abandon all sincerity, and eventually shift to scam patterns.
In some ways, I think they're really trying hard, but I regret the time I spent answering their messages.
Also, one person kept asking multiple questions as if they would buy only in the evenings for two days straight, but then went silent without a word.
Another person was negotiating a transaction, and when I checked their location, it wasn't that far, so I offered to deliver it directly, but they suddenly cut off contact.
The other night, someone left their address and phone number and said they would transfer money tomorrow, so I even submitted a pre-arranged postal tracking number late that night,
but yesterday they didn't transfer money, blocked my contact, and went silent.
Yesterday's inquirer asked questions via text for nearly 30 minutes, and at the end, they said they wouldn't accept the service items and requested a 300,000 won discount.
They were requesting a discount by converting the items I was giving for free into price terms, which seemed a bit odd to me.
I ultimately decided it wasn't right and canceled the deal.
Today's inquirer asked if I had a purchase receipt, so I sent it, but they haven't contacted me since.
I'm worried they might use my receipt to commit another fraud...
Everyone, when selling secondhand items, if someone asks for a purchase receipt, it's best to provide it only after the sale is completed.
It does seem that when prospective buyers make reasonable requests, the seller should respond sincerely in various ways,
but there are many people who take it too far... and with so many scam posts on the bulletin board, I'm just venting a bit.
