Bikes are expensive.

It's expensive because it's a high-end model.

There aren't many sports where the average person can use the same equipment as world-class athletes. This is especially true in racing.

Even in motorsports, just because you ride a Hayabusa or R1 doesn't mean you're riding a MotoGP machine.
There's a big gap between the equipment accessible to the average person and world-class equipment. The machines used by riders like Lando Norris and Marc Marquez, not to mention their helmets and suits, are beyond the reach of ordinary people.

Cycling is a bit different though.
In the case of Y1rs, you can actually ride almost the same equipment used in the World Tour as an average person.

If you can ride on the same equipment as world-class athletes for a little over 2,000 dollars, I think it's good value for money.

People who buy high-end bikes don't just want to "ride a bike,"
they want to enjoy the sport with the same equipment used by world-class athletes.

If you just want to ride a bike, you can ride a Samchully,
and if you want to enjoy racing while riding a bike, a Reacto 5000 or a Redefined would be enough.

But if you want to experience racing on a world-class bike,
then I think riding a high-end model like Y1rs is the way to go.

Conclusion: Bikes are not expensive.
