Ever since I had a major tubeless meltdown on a tour, I've stuck to clinchers.
Lately among European tour riders 30C has actually become the trend, and personally I was really curious,
so this time I switched to the S-Works Turbo (looks like "Turbo Cotton" got renamed and split into "Turbo" and "Cotton") in 30C...
The difference feels even bigger than going from 26C to 28C.
The result is fantastic. Makes me wish I'd switched sooner, and personally I think the S-Works Turbo 30C tire is amazing. The price is reasonable too, and the compound, puncture protection, all of it...
I vaguely assumed a 30C tire would be heavier, but it's only 260g for the 30C, so with a lightweight butyl tube it actually feels lighter than the tire I was using before. Anyway, I'm extremely satisfied.
