those used to be the options... but something felt off... the Facebook option had disappeared.
Back when I signed up, Facebook was huge, so I'd been using Facebook login this whole time...
So I panicked thinking my account had vanished, and after a quick search I found the following link (Strava's official announcement).

Don't panic, just go to 'Recover password' -> 'this link' in the middle, and reset your Strava password using the email address linked to your existing Facebook account, and you'll be able to get back into your account.
