Huawei launched two new flagship phones, the Huawei Pure 90s Pro and Pure 90s Pro Max, marking the return of 5G support to global Huawei smartphones after several years of only having 4G variants. The two phones are also the first to support eSIM in the global Pure line. Although 5G support has returned, Huawei still does not use Google services (GMS) and runs the EMUI 16 operating system based on the Android Open Source Project (AOSP). The Huawei Pure 90s Pro Max is equipped with a 200 MP telephoto camera with a 1/1.28-inch RYYB sensor and 4x optical zoom. Meanwhile, the Huawei Pure 90s Pro is equipped with a 50 MP RYYB main camera, a 50 MP telephoto camera with 4x optical zoom, and a 12.5 MP ultrawide camera.
