Originally this was the race I used to treat as my year-end final exam,
but this year since Baekdudaegan is at the end of October, this one's more like a mock final exam(?) I guess.
Crossing Baehuryeong, getting completely wrecked at the 4 passes of Cheongpyeongsa, and then drooling into a headwind past Gotan-gogae—
this is Chuncheon Bianchi, one of the toughest Gran Fondos in Korea, hands down.
It's a Sunday race so the traffic on the way back is a bit of a bummer,
but as long as the weather's good, you get to fully soak in the fall foliage + the morning mist over Uiam Lake. Plus endless rolling hills as a bonus~
Back in the Campagnolo era the swag was pretty flashy and got a lot of attention,
and now that it's switched to Bianchi the swag's gotten a bit weaker, but I'm going for the course alone.
Anyone who wants to pay to suffer, come on and join in :)
