I adopted my currently-running Cannondale SystemSix at the end of September 2021, and have been enjoying it for over 60,000km of commuting and touring.
Once a year I swap to Continental Grand Prix 5000 tires, and in fall I swap the chain, and that's how I keep riding.
Last year I swapped to GP5000 on March 7th, and was planning to push it through until the end of this month, but after commuting I looked at the sidewall of the tire and saw it was cracked...haha
Figured it was time to let it go, so I checked the mileage and it turned out to be a bit over 14,000km....hahaha
(Turns out you can get 14,000km out of a GP5000.. haha) Not sure if I'm just being too greedy, but it seems like the replacement cycle has settled into: chain
around the fall equinox, tires around the spring equinox.....
My trusty steed that I commute on every single day unless it's raining....am I neglecting it too much?....
Anyway, sharing this small experience of mine for anyone who wants to keep tire mileage as a reference..
Hoping everyone rides safe and has fun today too, this is a Cannondale from Jukjeon-dong.
