Hello!
I saw a post from about 2 pages ago about making a Garmin quarter-turn mount out of aluminum
I realized there were many people with the same concerns as me, so I'm leaving this post to share information. This is not an advertisement!!
I use a Garmin 1050 and a dash cam ID221 C5, so I needed Garmin quarter-turn mounts for both the top and bottom of the front mount,
I found that most mounts are designed to accommodate Garmin on top and GoPro mount on the bottom
I could use a GoPro-to-Garmin adapter on the GoPro mount, but then the dash cam hangs too low, looks bad, and interferes with the light
I spent quite a bit of money obsessing over the mount and buying and trying different combinations ㅋㅋ
In the end, I solved it by purchasing a Merida Team SL integrated handlebar exclusive mount!
The end of the mount can be attached to a GoPro mount, so you can use it even if it's not a Merida handlebar
The mount has lots of threads, so it can be adjusted according to the length of the product you're using
The mount itself is slightly thicker than other products, so using a shorter bolt allows you to mount it both top and bottom as shown in the pictures
If there are other products with this kind of mounting capability besides this one, let's share information together!
