I bought a Caddex wheel set on Joongonara that turned out to be cheaper than expected, so
I was planning to purchase it with in-person pickup, but
they showed me pictures of even the authentic box and said they would send it safely.
So just to be safe, I asked them to contact me by phone and they did,
and feeling reassured, I asked for their bank account number and made a deposit.
After that, when I called them, I immediately got a message saying "This is not a valid number"..
So I urgently called the bank and asked them to report the account for second-hand trading fraud, but
they said second-hand trades cannot be reported. They said I need to go to the police station and get a certificate proving I filed a report.
Then all the money would disappear in the meantime and I wouldn't be able to get it back.. How can this even happen?///ㅜㅜ
So I called the bank again and asked them to report it as investment fraud, and they did file a report.
After that, I went back to the Joongonara website and left a message in chat saying I had been scammed and filed a report, but
I got another call from an unknown number.
They said "I'll send the item, so please cancel the report"....
So I asked them to send a picture of the tracking number and they sent me a postal office receipt by text.
So I called that postal office and asked if the package was accepted, but they said there was no such acceptance...
These days the schemes are really incredible..
Meanwhile, they called again saying I'll receive the package tomorrow, so please cancel the account report immediately
and got really angry, calling it a false report...
It seems 100% like a scam, but I did submit an account closure request for now...
Just in case, I'm hoping the package comes tomorrow, but it seems like a scam.
For second-hand trades, please really do in-person inspection and pickup... This is my first time experiencing something like this...ㅜㅜ
