I usually ride my bike from Deokso to Yangsu Station twice a week, and I often go to Dongbu Pass and Homyeongsan Mountain.
I thought I could finish it without any difficulty, so I just started without thinking.
I called Gimpo Airport Baggage Service Center and reserved bike packing (40,000 won) to load it onto the plane.
The baggage center owner told me to leave the bike box at Jeju Airport Baggage Service when I arrive, and put the bike back in and come back.
The box storage fee for 3 nights and 4 days was 90,000 won, which is 20,000 won per day.
I started at 7 pm, and at first, I saw the sunset, it was really fantastic.
But the wind was very strong. ㅋㅋㅋㅋ I thought it would be mostly flat, but it wasn't.
There were a lot of camelbacks, and on the first day, I only rode 40 kilometers and slept at the accommodation.
From the next day onwards, my saddle sore was so bad that my feet hurt, so I took off my cycling shoes and rode in slippers. ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ
I prioritized survival over the scenery.
As I slept at the accommodation, I wondered what I was doing as I wasn't an athlete.
The next day, I felt good thinking that I could finish it today, and I enjoyed the scenery.
My mood got better, and I rode 120 kilometers. It was really, really hard.
Still, I stamped the certification center seal and received the certification sticker. When I get home, I'll remember the scenery and all kinds of emotions will become memories.
There are people on YouTube who complete a lap in one day, and they only show their smiling faces in the videos, so I thought it would be easy, but it was a misjudgment. ㅋㅋㅋㅋ
I didn't know how hard the National Cycling Route was...
