This is an Aftermarket Parts Service (AS) Review of Cube Importer Dongjin Imports.
September 19, 2025 ~ February 28, 2026
Personally, I was busy with work and riding, so I'm just now writing this review.
It took 6 months to receive the requested parts.
Below is a summary timeline.
September 19: Requested seatpost purchase through bicycle shop to importer
September 22: Setback seatpost exists, but received response that zero-back seatpost has no inventory at headquarters and no mass production plan
October 1: After directly inquiring with headquarters, received response to request through importer as headquarters has inventory, so inquired with importer again
December 29: Since importer gave no response, re-inquired with headquarters
January 26: Received response that import is planned for end of February
February 4: Requested fact confirmation from importer
February 27: Requested parts arrived at shop
February 28: Visited shop and received parts
I'm writing this as a summary since the importer is reluctant to disclose conversation details.
Summary of Conversation with Importer (Dongjin Imports)
Me: Is there really no inventory at the headquarters?
Importer: We have no inventory and are prepared for import, so we plan to send it.
Me: But you said there's no inventory at the headquarters, so was I given misinformation?
Importer: There was confusion between headquarters, the importer, and the shop owner. And when it was said there's no inventory, it was misstated as the headquarters having none when actually the importer didn't have it.
Me: Anyway, why was it delayed?
Importer: Sorry, the order went through in December.
The attached file is the conversation history with the shop owner.
Well, that's how it is. I didn't even expect aftermarket parts to be available domestically, but they sourced and sent parts that the headquarters didn't have either—a customer-touching service!! Thank you, Dongjin Imports, for making and sending even parts that headquarters didn't have!!
