Yesterday, Hyeja from Anthropic reset my usage quota for me, and since tomorrow morning at 9am is the usage reset, I intensively used Fable 5 from 100% (it took about 12 hours and nearly exhausted the Fable 5 usage quota on 2 projects)
One project is a web CAD that I'm building
The other project is something I'm making out of personal interest, which you may not be particularly interested in - using A2A, I'm building an app that orchestrates terminal agents (Claude Code, Codex, Open Code) that are on local and LAN networks from a single terminal TUI agent (or going back and forth)
Currently on WIN-MAC, messages are being sent and received well back and forth, and we're doing great at throwing and receiving tasks with each other (not aiming for full autonomy, so it's semi-autonomous. 😁 When the user gives instructions, they ping-pong with each other, and if needed, they call sub-agents-headless- to work on tasks as well).
The screenshot is the local web dashboard of that app.
Anyway, the important thing is that while building, the Fable 5 usage was running low, so I documented all future designs and switched back to Opus 4.8, but as if by promise, the design documents are much more detailed and have better ideas than what I was planning, and I'm amazed quite often (in fact, even with Opus 4.8, I did wander a bit for a few days)
And the usage amount is not too disappointing either. I crudely (trying to exhaust the usage ㅠ) did everything with Fable 5, but going forward I plan to do detailed design with Fable 5, and through the current project, I'm planning to keep Codex running locally and other Opus and Sonnet on Mac, and have other sessions do coding and reviews appropriately. (I'm implementing swarms rather belatedly)
That was the development progress of an A2A agent orchestration app under the guise of a Fable 5 usage review.
Thank you, have a good weekend! 😁
