Jakarta, KOMPAS.com - The Big Bang Taeyang concert scheduled for January 25, 2025 has been canceled. The organizer, iMe Indonesia, announced the news directly through its social media account.
"With a very heavy heart, we announce that the 'Taeyang 2025 Tour (The Light Year) in Jakarta' concert scheduled to be held at Beach City International Stadium on January 25, 2025 has been canceled due to unforeseen circumstances," iMe Indonesia said on Friday, January 10, 2025. "We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause," it added.
Refund Procedure Information
In the official announcement, the organizer explained the refund procedure for fans who have purchased concert tickets. "Refunds for all ticket holders will be processed through the official platform Tiket.com. An e-refund form will be sent to your email address, which you must fill out," the organizer said.
The email will be sent starting Tuesday, January 14, 2025, and the refund application period is a maximum of 14 days.
Taeyang's Indonesia Concert History
Taeyang was scheduled to visit Indonesia again for his solo concert 'The Light Year' after seven years. Ticket sales for the concert began on December 9, 2024 and garnered high expectations from many fans.
Previously, Taeyang had held several solo concerts in Indonesia. In 2015, he held 'Taeyang World Tour Rise', and in 2017, a concert titled 'White Night'.
