With this one sentence, Jonas has essentially
admitted to himself that he cannot
surpass Pogačar.
Pogačar is even
someone who, if Paris-Roubaix doesn't suit him,
adapts himself to the course —
a truly crazy rider.
That's why I think everyone cheers and goes wild for him.
He gambles thinking if he blows up, so be it,
and goes full gas —
a play that Jonas would never make in a million years.
So he may be more consistent,
but he's also less exciting.
This year's Tour as well, barring a decisive upset..
it would make sense to see it as Pogačar's title defense.
