Indonesia Delivery Service Reviews: My Honest Experiences!
Hello!
Today, I want to talk about the delivery services I've actually used in Indonesia. Since I often need to send things, I've tried various services. Each service has its own pros and cons.
1️⃣ GoSend by Gojek: The Short-Distance Champion in Jakarta!
One motorcycle is all it takes!!! Gojek's GoSend is a delivery service for short distances within an hour. It's so convenient to use both when sending and receiving, that I often use it.
How to Use: Enter the pickup location and destination in the app, select motorcycle or car option, and you're done!
Recommended Situation: When you need to deliver documents or small items urgently.
Tip: Motorcycles are fast and affordable, but for larger items, switch to the car option.
📌 Actual Review - Since I can simply request delivery through the app for items left at a friend's house, it saves me effort and time. There's nothing more convenient!
2️⃣ JNE Express: The Go-To for Areas Outside Jakarta!
Nationwide Delivery You Can Trust!! When sending items outside the capital region, I mainly use JNE Express.
How to Use: Go to an agency, get the weight measured → fill out a shipping form → pay the fee and you're done!
Advantages: Nowadays, the Tracking system works well, allowing you to check the delivery status in real time.
Recommended Situation: Non-urgent parcels or deliveries outside the capital region.
📌 Actual Review - I sent a gift to a friend in Sumatra, and thanks to JNE, it arrived on time. It's reliable and reasonably priced.
3️⃣ Lion Parcel: The Hidden Champion for Inter-Island Cargo
Cargo? Different Island? Trust Lion Parcel!! When I lived in Bali, I received IKEA furniture delivery through Lion Parcel. Recently, their website has been revamped and the service has improved even further.
Strengths: While JNE also offers cargo packages, Lion Parcel is more suitable for large cargo shipments between islands.
Recommended Situation: When you need to send large items or cargo to another island.
📌 Actual Review - I was initially worried, but the large shipment arrived without any problems. Since then, I've always used Lion Parcel for cargo.
4️⃣ QCN: The Go-To for Sending Documents to Korea!
To Seoul in just two days, perfect document delivery !! Sometimes you need to send documents to Korea. QCN is reasonably priced and has reliable service.
Price: Approximately 250,000 rupiah for delivery to Seoul within two days!
Recommended situation: When you need to send urgent documents to Korea
📌 Actual review - I have never been disappointed with QCN's delivery of important documents with clients. It is fast and accurate.
5️⃣ DHL: When sending small items to Korea!
DHL if you need it fast!!! DHL is the best when sending items to Korea or a third country.
Advantages: Fast delivery speed and high reliability as a global company.
Disadvantages: The price is a bit expensive. But isn't time money when you're in a hurry?
Recommended situation: When you need to send small items to Korea quickly
